Custom EV charging solutions are essential for scaling smart charging infrastructure. That’s exactly what Mob-Energy, an innovative French company, set out to build.

Meet Mob-Energy

Mob-Energy is a bold French innovator disrupting the EV charging landscape. With a focus on battery-based charging solutions, they aim to electrify fleets with maximum efficiency and minimal hassle. This way, setting new standards for the industry in France and beyond.

 

The challenge: Custom EV charging solutions

However, Mob-Energy needed more than standard EV chargers. They wanted a flexible manufacturer who could deliver custom EV charging solutions tailored to their system.

At the center of their setup is Eiko – a next-generation unit that can charge up to 25 electric vehicles using power from just one grid connection. Because of this innovative design, Eiko supports fleet electrification in a way that is both practical and affordable. In fact, it is one of the most cost-effective EV energy storage and charging hubs available today.

To make it all work, Mob-Energy needed reliable 7kW AC EV chargers. These had to include Wi-Fi connectivity and RCBO 40A Type B protection. Moreover, the chargers needed to connect smoothly with the Eiko cube and support easy scaling across sites with custom EV charging capabilities.

The solution

To meet this need, Elinta Charge worked closely with Mob-Energy in an ongoing demo process. Step by step, we improved the product together. For instance, we fine-tuned internal wiring, updated Wi-Fi settings, and adjusted packaging and setup instructions.

In addition, we optimized the installation workflow to better suit Eiko’s modular system and the needs of custom EV charging solutions.

By December 2023, Elinta Charge had completed a charger that fit Mob-Energy’s system perfectly. This custom-built 7kW AC charger clearly outperformed earlier off-the-shelf options.

Thanks to this hands-on approach, Elinta Charge moved beyond just delivering hardware. Instead, we became a true strategic partner.
