Safety drives every step of EV charger development. That’s why we’re introducing a new feature for the CityCharge M2 line: optional built-in protections that make charging setups safer, simpler, and more efficient.
Until now, installers often had to add extra safety devices in the power distribution box. With this new option, the M2 takes care of it all internally – each socket now comes with two safety protection devices built in. That means less equipment to mount, faster installation, and fewer points of failure.
From now on, you can order the M2 equipped with:
- 2× Siemens RCBO Type A – combining overcurrent and residual current protection in one compact unit.
- 2× RCMs – for DC leakage protection.
The built-in protections are available with both 1 and 2 power inputs.
The CityCharge M2 with built-in protections is available with bank card readers, including Apollo and CCV IM30. And because the M2 meets Eichrecht, OZEV, and other key regulations, you can be confident it’s ready for even the most demanding markets.
